Pastoral Care

An interdenominational chaplain visits the Centre every Wednesday afternoon. Please speak to any staff member if you wish to see him. A small chapel is available for regular and occasional worship and meditation. Residents wishing to see a spiritual leader from a specific faith should contact our recreation staff. Anglican and Catholic services are held weekly.

Guest Trust Account

Residents may open a Guest Trust Account to pay for miscellaneous items or services purchased from the facility or some of its service providers. This eliminates the need to carry cash or keep money in your room.

The services listed below normally include a fee and are among the services that may be charged to the Guest Trust Account.

Dry Cleaning

A dry-cleaning service is available twice weekly. This service can also provide repairs to personal belongings. Please leave your clothes at the Front Desk or ask your care attendant to do it for you.

Hairdressing and Barbering

The Windermere Hair Salon is open Tuesday to Friday. Appointments can be made at the Front Desk or in the Hair Salon.

Tuck Shop

A Tuck Shop with assorted candies and personal items is operated by residents and volunteers.

Happy Hour

A Happy Hour with bar service is available in the Main Lounge from Monday to Saturday, between 3:50 and 4:30 p.m. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available.

Guest Meals

Residents may entertain their guests at meals as space permits. Please make reservations at the Front Desk to ensure that space is available.
