The Windermere Care Centre is pleased to announce that it is working in collaboration with Providence Health Care maintain a new 12 bed hospice on the 9th floor of the facility. Providence Health Care operates the hospice. You can contact the hospice at 604-731-5947.
The creation of this hospice helps ensure that individuals who are palliative can receive the level of service they need when they no longer require hospital care or cannot remain at home.
Marion Hospice opened on December 1, 2005.
